Hate Crimes Prevention Act~2010 National Defense Authorization Act

Definition:  This bill adds extra penalties to violent crimes when they are deemed motivated by gender, sexual orientation, or disabilities. It's the first major expansion of hate crimes legislation originally passed in 1968, targeted then to crimes aimed at race, color, religion, and national origin. 

How the Hate Crimes Bill Will Effect You:  This was a devious manuver by the Democrates to attached this amendment to a bill that would give more funding to our military. As a result, we now have a law that places people into specific classes, endangers freedom of religion and speech, and destroys the American principle of equality under the law.
